Bio:
FSBOBR.com is a completely independent, family owned and operated real estate advertising service that was founded in 2002. Mike Carroll, creator/owner, first had the idea to begin the website while serving as a salesman for a website hosting company. The company began as a 'grass roots' operation, with Carroll working part-time on the weekends, and literally obtaining the first customers by explaining the service door-to-door! It did not take long for news of this great service to spread like wildfire.
Over time, the website really began to take off and become extremely popular in the Baton Rouge Metro Area. It also became a full time operation. Properties in Livingston and Ascension Parishes expanded the coverage areas and also became very popular. Web traffic to the website grew exponentially as more and more people began advertising their properties; and has continued to grow each year. 11 years after it's creation FSBOBR.com has listed over 15,000 properties, and averages, and over 75,000 individual visits per month. FSBOBR.com has more listings, and more traffic than any other FSBO website in Louisiana.
Today, FSBOBR.com is run by Mike and his two sons, Matt and Chris, as they continue to provide an effective, affordable service to Greater Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. We sincerely appreciate our customers and users, and hope to maintain our dominance of the Baton Rouge market for years to come.
